When Rubi approached us about making a hair tutorial video with her we found ourselves envisioning the over and under cadence of braids set to sunlit gauzy curtains. The idea was less of a how-to and focused more on the feel of a slow-paced afternoon, peeking in on pretty tresses being done up. We hope it inspires a few to try their hair up in braids or rag curls, and we also can't help but think it gets a few of us excited for warmer weather with plentiful sunshine and a need to wear such dreamy dresses.

  3. Oh this is soooo pretty ! And so useful ! I've been waiting for a
cool tutorial on how to make a braided crown, mines always
look messy but not the good kind of messy, more like weird-
hair-earthquake-messy :( plus the video is delicate and airy,
    it's really perfect :)

  14. I'm friends with Rubi (I was lucky enough to have her do my hair in New York) and the video you did for her just took my breath away. I loved it so much. And then later I saw the Olive Us video and of course went nuts over it & had to look up Tiger in a Jar. So happy to find the genius couple behind it all. You guys are so talented - I'm just in awe. I hope one day to use your services. My husband and I have thought about making some videos to go along with our blog's message over at A BLOG ABOUT LOVE. If my dreams come true you'll hear from me one day :) Take care, Mara
