Matt and I honestly have no words for how grateful we are that our little business has made it so far and touched so many people-all in just a years time. We are humbled that every day we are able to work together; brainstorming, creating, and digging into our minds for new ideas, and then bringing these ideas to life.
We wish we could gather all of you around a table-we would talk eagerly of what inspires us, what makes us stop and pause. Of course there would be food there, possibly a fresh baked loaf of bread with crust ready to be cracked open. For now though our tiny space could not accommodate such a gathering, so we are grateful that instead you let these videos inside your spaces, and in this way allow us to connect with so many of you.
thank you.
again, beautiful work. i am so greatly inspired by you guys that i wish i could make a video myself about it. :))

ReplyDeleteyou capture the art of making bread so perfectly-- it is one of my favorite things to do when i am sad. it is mesmerizing and comforting and i love how the dough feels on my palms when it's done rising and i sprinkle more flour on it while shaping the loaf.

I love this video Julie. I especially love the in-between items...like writing a letter... I wish more people took the time to write letters...it would naturally slow down your day. :)
ReplyDeleteThe bread looks so yummy and the making of it, so relaxing. The crust is perfect! I am German, living in the US and was just dreaming of German bread today. Can you provide the recipe, please?
ReplyDeleteHi !! ... I have just met your blog and I have to say that I love you both... I've always thought that life should be full of happiness, of delicious food, plenty of smiles and work (I mean...a wonderfull job)... The world is confused about this, and is sad to observe solitary people walking on the streets, trying to have a lot of money, desiring a lot of admiration from the others and trying to find "that thing" which will makes them happy.....while happiness just watch them and wait that they find it in the simple things of life....Thank you for inspire a lot of people to follow they own hearts...thank you!!! and wellcome Mexico.
